Greendale Physical Therapy was founded by Jon Dooley, MSPT, in 2002. Jon was—and continues to be—driven by the mission to deliver the highest level of physical therapy care and patient service.
Having originally opened in Shrewsbury, his practice quickly expanded to a second location at the Greendale Mall (and then to its current location on Gold Star Blvd). Over the next few years, Greendale Physical Therapy established itself as a leader in Central Massachusetts. A third location was opened in Clinton, MA and an aquatic physical therapy program was developed to provide aquatic physical therapy for patients from all the Greendale locations.
As Greendale Physical Therapy has grown over the last two decades, so too has the team’s commitment to making good on Jon’s founding mission. Our motto is better before bigger.
Greendale Physical Therapy continues to receive accolades and recognition on both a local and national level:
Selected to be part of the medical staff for the 2004 Rock and Roll Gymnastics Tour, featuring members of the 2004 Olympic Gymnastics team. (We strive to care for every patient who walks through our door as if he or she were an Olympic Athlete.)
Selected as Best Place for Physical Therapy by Holden Landmark Reader’s Choice four years in a row; 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Recognized nationally by winning “Honorable Mention” in the Advance Magazine for Physical Therapy and Rehab 2014 “Practice of the Year” contest.
Earned the 2015 Torch Award for Marketplace Excellence by the Better Business Bureau.
While we welcome the attention and recognition from leading well-respected publications and organizations, the reward we value most is hearing about the success of our patients.
Greendale Physical Therapy is a leader in the clinical education of its team. An unprecedented therapist educational program— Greendale Physical Therapy “U”—helps our team stay true to the mission of providing the highest level of physical therapy care and patient service.
