Our Story

Since its inception in 2002, Greendale Physical Therapy has emerged as a leading care and rehabilitation provider in the central Massachusetts region, and we have treated thousands of patients. We operate clinics in Shrewsbury, Worcester, Clinton, and Marlborough, with a team of over 20 therapists.

Our motto, “You don’t have to be an Olympic athlete to be treated like one,” illustrates our commitment to top-notch care for all of our patients. In addition to our focus on outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, we treat patients with various neurological conditions, and offer vestibular physical therapy, aquatic therapy, and a one-of-a-kind fall prevention program. Our hands-on approach to care integrates manual therapy into the rehabilitation plan and daily treatments for most of our patients.

We have won many Readers’ Choice awards and have been recognized nationally with an honorable mention for ADVANCE Magazine’s “Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Practice of the Year” award. As leaders in our field, we were recently selected as the first site for a nationwide study led by the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Acadia University on the impact of physical therapy on total knee replacements. Greendale Physical Therapy was selected to be part of the medical staff for the Rock and Roll Gymnastics Tour, featuring members of the Olympic Gymnastics team. While we welcome the attention and recognition from leading well-respected publications and organizations, the reward we value most is hearing about the success of our patients

Greendale Physical Therapy is a leader in the clinical education and mentorship of its team. An unprecedented therapist educational program— Greendale Physical Therapy “U”—helps our team stay true to the mission of providing the highest level of physical therapy care and patient service. Our mentorship program is unique and develops new therapists into top-tier clinicians.

As a physical therapy-centered practice, we pride ourselves on direct patient care and attention to detail. Our administrative expertise ensures that this aspect of the healthcare process is seamless and smooth for patients and doctors alike. We work hard to see new patients as quickly as possible—we don’t want patients to have to wait for care when they are in pain. Our secure online portal at www.greendalept.com allows new patients to schedule initial evaluations easily.

They put a program together for me that is amazing – I can do so many things now that I never thought I would do again.
