Neck Success Stories

I am very thankful for the hard work and dedication by everyone at the Shrewsbury Branch. They not only helped identify the best treatment for my injury, but they listened to my thoughts and concerns. The customer/client services that the staff strives to provide demonstrates a trusted, respectful experience that can really help a client keep a positive, empowering attitude about PT.

I was able to enjoy the whole experience of PT to the point that I looked forward to coming in at the end of a very busy work day. The uplifting positive attitude and behavior of the team in Shrewsbury should be commended and used as a model for all PT offices. The experience and results from my PT was priceless!

I am writing to you today to say I appreciate all the special treatment I have been given. I was injured in March 2000 in a car accident, which left me with 4 herniated discs in my neck and one of them compressing my spinal cord and that slows down my spinal fluid flow. I also have fibromyalgia, so pain is part of my every day life. I have been to at least 10 physical therapy facilities since 2000, never resulting in anything. Since I have been to Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC, I have been feeling a lot better. The therapy they give is awesome; I have benefited most by the manual therapy and stretches. The therapists are wonderful and always willing to give you the extra attention you sometimes need for improvement. I can finally drive without turning my whole body to look both ways. I will miss all the wonderful friends I have made at Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC.

I would like to express my thanks to you and your staff at Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC for all the assistance in enabling me to have had such good success in my recovery from severe neck pain. My experience here was very positive.

I had recently been recovering from a fractured spine when I had presented with severe neck pain. My spine doctor recommended me for surgery. I decided to try PT instead. I must admit, I was not sure if it would have helped me but to my surprise I have had much more range of motion, less pain and discomfort, and am able to perform my daily tasks with much more ease. I have also learned to manage any pain I experience. I gained much knowledge in learning to do the exercises, I needed to do to help in my recovery. I found at Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC great people, much professionalism, and a group of such genuine caring people. I will continue to use what I have learned from all of you, to continue to heal my body, and improve the quality of my life. I am truly grateful for a job well done, in my recovery, and would not hesitate to use your services or recommend you to others.

When I developed a pain, which started just below the neck and traveled down my right arm ending as needle jabs in three of my fingers. I set up an appointment with my physician, Dr. E. Russell Young. Dr. Young diagnosed the problem as a pinched nerve and recommended physical therapy. I was apprehensive since I had never used the services of a physical therapist. I came to Greendale PT with absolutely no expectations, based solely on my doctor’s recommendations to try physical therapy. When I stepped into the facility, I was immediately impressed. Cindy, the receptionist, who handled my paperwork was explicit and helpful.

I had a 9 o’clock appointment and was taken at 9 am…obviously the staff valued my time. I was then ushered into a private room and expertly examined and privately questioned until the Therapist was able to understand the existing problem. The beginning phase of treatment began immediately, and from that inception, I felt confident that I was in good hands. Aside from the professionalism and attentive attitude, I was made to feel comfortable and at ease. That was because getting better was treatment oriented, social, and caring…a perfect mix for me. I was made to feel that prodded and pounded (gently of course) and put through the paces- slowly but surely the pain would be slipping away. Each appointment was preceded by questions and evaluation to determine changes so that the treatment could be tweaked according to my current physical need.

I’ve come full circle, culminating with expert advice on how to avoid further pinched nerve problems. Advice I will need along with a levy of exercises that I promised to continue. The sharp pain in my neck, shoulder, and fingers are gone. So this is my last opportunity to thank this staff, each and every on, for their thoughtful and excellent care. I have already begun singing your praises and recommending you to friends. Not only was my pinched nerve taken care of, but in the process my headaches are gone and the chronic pain in my rotator cuff is a thing of the past. These were additional “perks” as a result of the treatment I received.

I will miss my times with the wonderful staff at Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC, and I assure you, if I ever need physical therapy again I will come to you; and I will not be apprehensive because I know PT in the right hands…works! Thank you again. I am pleased to have you as friends, and appreciate all your efforts on my behalf.

I would like to thank everyone at Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC for helping me recover from my car accident. The staff was very professional and helpful. I had stiffness and pain in my neck and shoulders, the exercises and massage helped it greatly. There’s been dramatic improvement on how I feel and can do more daily activities. I would highly recommend Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC to anyone. Thank you all for everything you’ve done to help me feel back to normal.

When I first started here at Greendale PT I was in quite a lot of pain in my neck and shoulder areas. Since coming here, I have greatly improved thanks to the extremely skillful and caring therapists. They have taken the time to make sure I am doing each exercise correctly and their manual massage techniques are excellent. They have made me feel very comfortable on each visit. I would highly recommend Greendale PT to anyone and I am very happy with my progress, and the stretching and strengthening exercises they have taught me to use at home work. Thank you all so much for your dedication!

Before coming to Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC, I was seeing a chiropractor for over 3 years. Even though that helped me a lot, there were still several areas that caused me pain on a daily basis. I was very pleased with my treatment here. I had heard stories about other people’s PT experiences where they saw a different therapist each visit. At Greendale PT, I saw the same people and it was evident that they cared about my progress. I have encouraged several people I know to go to Greendale PT.

I had been having pain, on and off, in my neck and left shoulder for years after an auto accident. It was painful for me to work long hours, but with the help from Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC, I am able to work pain free. Additionally, I no longer have days when I cannot turn my head or get off the couch due to the pain. They are miracle workers that took the time and effort needed to fix my neck and left shoulder.

After experiencing neck and head pain for several weeks I finally went to my doctor and was diagnosed with osteoarthritis (degenerative disc disease in my lower cervical spine). Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC was recommended. During my seventeen visits I received instruction on a neck and back exercise program which proved to be very beneficial in my recovery. But, the key factor in my complete success of pain relief was the manual therapy treatment. Their magic hands performed an extraordinary change in my neck pain level from ten to zero. In fact, I can honestly say that I have better range of mobility in my neck movement than I ever had! Lastly, I appreciate the professionalism and encouragement I received from the entire staff.

To everyone at Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC: It was rather a very satisfying experience, towards the end I feel really good. To begin with I was very stressed at the neck and upper back areas, which caused unbalance and even led to vertigo like symptoms. Now I am totally relieved because of very dedicated individuals here. They took very personal interest towards my physical situation and helped every time towards healing and feeling better. Thanks a lot to you ALL.

This is actually my 2nd time at Greendale physical therapy. 1st was for an arm injury, this time I’d injured my neck- hyperextension while at yoga. Pain was considerable and I couldn’t do day to day things like looking over my shoulder when driving the car, looking up at signs, and so on. I had to give yoga up. After a visit to my MD, I came back to PT. Thanks to an excellent team, I feel much better at this point. I have resumed yoga, can drive comfortably, and feel better overall. My thanks to you all!

I was in a lot of pain when I first came in, I had a lot of trouble moving my neck. Now I feel so much better, I can move my neck with no problems. The people here are very nice. They always made me feel comfortable. I would recommend this place to all my friends. The people alone really know what they are doing. I really enjoyed the massage therapy and the stim felt good too.

I started treatment at Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC after having problems with neck pain. Tarah and Alicia were extremely competent in both explaining and implementing the procedures required for my treatment. I found the rest of the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Also, at my appointment time I was attended to punctually. I would recommend this facility.
