Dawn graduated from Quinnipiac University (Hamden, CT) with a bachelor’s of Health Science and a Master’s of Physical Therapy. Dawn was a member of the field hockey team while there, she continues to carry that competitiveness and drive for excellence into other aspects of her life.
Dawn began her career in acute rehab treating patients with spinal cord injuries, strokes, and orthopedic surgeries. Since the early 2000’s she has accumulated many years of outpatient orthopedic experience with a special interest in post-operative rehabilitation and treating athletes of all ages.
Dawn treats a wide breadth of patient diagnosis and employs a combined mix of specialized manual techniques and specific exercises with her interventions.
Dawn is additionally trained in Maitland manual therapy techniques, she has mentored dozens of physical therapy students, and she serves on the advisory board for MCPHS University.
Dawn loves to travel and participate in outdoor activities including hiking, skiing (water and snow-downhill), SCUBA diving, snowshoeing. Also, Dawn is a HUGE dog-lover and has a spoiled German Shorthaired Pointer (who also loves outdoor activities), who currently waiting for her to come home and feed him.
