Laura graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1996. Soon after, she moved to Chicago, Illinois, where for 17 years she worked at an inpatient rehabilitation center. There, she specialized in a Lymphedema program with a focus on oncology.
Later, she put her skills to work in outpatient settings, both in hospitals and private practices. Over the next 12 years, she refined her talents to become proficient in orthopedics, with particular interests in shoulder, knee, and foot and ankle rehabilitation. She is well-versed in Mulligan techniques, Kinesiotaping, and functional strengthening and brings an eclectic mix of tools and methods to all of her patients. Her specialties include vestibular rehabilitation and manual therapies, as well as bandaging and compression in post-surgery patients.
Laura joined Greendale Physical Therapy in August 2013 after moving to New England. She enjoys hiking and the beauty of the great outdoors and hopes to get back to her once-active interest in sailing and kayaking. She looks forward to discovering a new part of the country. At home, she loves cooking and dining with friends and family and enjoys putting her wine knowledge to the test. She cherishes rare lazy days with her partner and five pets.
