Amputee Rehab

We provide therapy to a wide range of amputee patients who have lost all of part of one or both legs. Some of our patients have recently received their prosthetic leg and need to get comfortable with transfers, standing and walking. Others are already proficient with activities of daily living, but want to go back to high level taks, such as work, fitness and leisure.

Whatever your goals are, our therapist will work closely with you to help you achieve them. We use a variety of manual techniques and exercises aimed to maintain the integrity of your residual limb. We also identify any potential muscle imbalance that could be hindering your walking performance and stability.

Our services include:

  • Pre- prosthetic training: Exercises to improve strength and flexibility that will facilitate use of prosthetic legs.
  • Gait training: even/uneven surfaces, stairs.
  • Return to activity: Work/sports related.

Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC provides individually designed treatment tailored for each client’s unique needs. Our team is committed to helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well being. Our goal is to enable our clients to regain function, control their pain, and improve their overall quality of life.
