Chronic Pain

Chronic pain and symptoms can be the result of many different types of injuries, illnesses, or diseases. They can also occur with overuse due to repetitive motion. Physical therapy treatments focus on decreasing the level of pain through manual therapy techniques that are focused on releasing tight muscles or stiff joints. The therapist will work with you to improve your strength, endurance, and flexibility by designing an individualized exercise program.

This often includes:

  • Customized exercise program to increase strength and flexibility in affected muscles or joints
  • Manual therapies
  • Modalities including heat, ice, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
  • Patient education regarding activities, posture, and biomechanics

Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC helped me regain the strength in my ankles and feet to keep me walking and continue to exercise and golf. The staff are all well skilled, pleasant, and supportive. I would highly recommend them to my friends for PT. They are a great group!
