Shoulder and Elbow Injuries

Shoulder injuries are common among athletes, especially those who play tennis, golf, baseball/softball, volleyball, and racquet sports. Elbow injuries are also common in these types of athletes as well as tennis players and swimmers. Non-athletes are equally at risk for shoulder and elbow injuries due to general overuse and the complexity of the joint anatomy. Physical therapy treatment plans focus on returning normal function and strength in the affected limbs. This can help you get back to your favorite activities quickly.

Greendale Physical Therapy can help you manage these issues, including:

  • Customized exercise program to strengthen muscles and improve endurance
  • Manual therapies
  • Modalities including heat, ice, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
  • Patient education regarding activities, posture, and biomechanics

Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC helped me regain the strength in my ankles and feet to keep me walking and continue to exercise and golf. The staff are all well skilled, pleasant, and supportive. I would highly recommend them to my friends for PT. They are a great group!
